Compiled from five-plus years of newsgroup chatter.  Note that the Planeteer who coined the phrase is credited in parentheses.  The meaning of BBT should be obvious.

Academy Award^© - something we want to see BBT get many more of.

Affleck, Ben - actor no one noticed in ARMAGEDDON because BBT was in it (see also Willis, Bruce).

'Aight - short for "alright," as in 'aight then ("alright, then").

Air Billy Bob - the official airline of Planet Billy Bob; BBT is notoriously phobic about flying.

Animal cracker scene - unforgivably cheesy love scene between Liv Tyler and Ben Affleck in ARMAGEDDON that, thankfully, didn't involve BBT.

Antiques - a major Billy Bob phobia.

ART - short for Karl's favorite phrase, "Alright, then" from SLING BLADE.

Base Camp - hometown of any given reporting Planeteer.

Baseball Cap - standard headgear for the serious BBT fan and most Southern males; BBT himself owns about 100 and seems partial to his Arkansas State Troopers, Sun Studios, and ZZ Top caps.

BBT (Lily) - Acronym for Billy Bob Thornton.

BB-Ts (Momkat) - Planet Billy Bob T-shirt.

Benton, AR - hometown of BBT.

Benton Services Center - permanent home of Karl Childers; Big Daddy is the undisputed chess grandmaster of the Benton Services Center.

Big Daddy (BBT) - Michael Shipp, who is very tall.

Billybobapalooza (Rick Lupert) - 1) the official name of the First Unofficial Billy Bob Thornton Website created by Lily; 2) an official gathering of Billy Bob Thornton fans.

Billybobapaloozers (Sage) - another way to refer to Planeteers.

Billycillin (Michelle) - Good fer whatever ails ye!

Bingo King (Sage) - from a piece of fan fiction Sage wrote parodying "Saturday Night Fever" in which BBT was the reigning king of bingo at the local VFW hall.

Black - BBT's favorite fashion color.

Bod Mod (Sage) - body modifications such as piercings and tattoos; BBT has several bod mods, including tattoos on his arms and double ear piercings; Sage has two new tattoos; the trend is threatening to catch on.

Budget Nudist (Wu Tang) - Billy Bob's Wu Tang Clan name (according to the Wu Tang Clan's "create your own Wu Tang Clan name" function on their website).

Buffalo nickel (Dan Truman) - the five-cent piece used before the current Jefferson nickel; a nifty thing to have; something Dan'll give you if you can fix the satellite.

Carl Thwacker (Sage) - an as-yet unfilled position which requires the incumbent to thwack Carl Cotton upside the head whenever he makes a self- deprecating comment.

Chopper Chick (Irene) - Irene from New York; her official title, the full version of which is Chopper Chick in Giuliani Town.

Cowboy boots - preferred footwear of Hisfineself.

Disraeli, Benjamin - 19th century British Prime Minister whose coif inspires major revulsion in our hero, who has referred to Disraeli's 'do as a "hair shelf."  Cheeky Huge Grant flashed pictures of Disraeli at Billy Bob from off camera to torment him during filming of LOVE, ACTUALLY.

Flying - another major Billy Bob phobia, although he does fly occasionally.

FOB - Friend of Bill; a friend of President William Jefferson Clinton; Billy Bob Thornton is a Friend of Bill.

FOBB (Lily) - Friend of Billy Bob; President William Jefferson Clinton is a friend of Billy Bob Thornton.

Franklin, Benjamin - one of Billy Bob's heroes.

French fried potaters (BBT) - Karl Childers' favorite snack; the official snack food of Planet Billy Bob.

Gimmie Cap (Sage) - a baseball cap with someone's logo or product name on it; BBT has about 100 of these in rotation in his wardrobe.

Global killer (Dan Truman) - the asteroid in ARMAGEDDON; (Amélie) BBT's 10,000-watt smile.

Gorge (Angela) - gorgeous; BBT is massively gorge.

Head Cheese - oft-discussed, but rarely consumed meat consisting of parts of the pig we'd rather not think about; a culinary non-delight on Planet Billy Bob.

Hisfineself (Amélie) - formal and reverential way to refer to Billy Bob Thornton; Billy Bob's official title on Planet Billy Bob.

Hot Springs, AR - hometown of BBT.

"I heart Billy Bob, but ewwwwwwww, not like that!" (Katy) - proposed hat or T- shirt logo for the men of Planet Billy Bob

Komodo Dragon - large, man-eating lizard indigenous to Indonesia; the worst possible pet for Billy Bob; he hates 'em, HATES 'EM!

Lily - creator of the Billybobapalooza website and founder of Planet Billy Bob.  Now retired and lurking.

List Mama - the administrator of the Planet Billy Bob newsgroup.

Little Rock, AR - hometown of BBT.

Looza (Amélie)  - short for Billybobapalooza (defined as a fan gathering, not the name of the website); an official gathering of Billy Bob Thornton fans.

Loozers (Sage) - short for Billybobapaloozers; another way to refer to Planeteers.

Malvern, AR - hometown of BBT (do you see a trend here?).

Micro Looza (Amélie) - a social gathering of no more than 2 Planeteers.

Mini Looza (Amélie) - a social gathering of 3-10 Planeteers.

Ms. Smoky Mountains (Big Daddy) - our beloved Diana Dail of Alabama 

Myocarditis - a heart condition BBT suffered from due to malnutrition resulting from an all-potato diet.

Open Up a Can of Whup Ass - to deliver a sound beating to someone.

Pelt or Peltage - BBT's chest hair, the sight of which is reputed to have more power over women than 10,000 Tom Jones live shows.

Pine Bluff, AR - hometown of BBT.

Planet Billy Bob (Sage) - the mailing list established by Lily so that Billy Bob's fans could communicate with each other.

Planeteers - members of Planet Billy Bob.

Pretty Please With Billy Bob on Top (Gabbie) - a very nice way of asking for something.

Razorbacks - BBT and Big Daddy's favorite college football team.

Roger - friendly, destructive bull who lives next door to Sage; the unofficial mascot of Planet Billy Bob.

Satellite Billy Bob (Sage)- Actors and Actresses who have appeared in numerous Billy Bob movies and projects, like Dwight Yoakam and Brent Briscoe.

Sex Imbeds (Sage) - subliminal sexual messages Sage claims she has buried in each of her e-mails to make everyone horny; Amélie claims that all they make her is seriously thirsty; linguists are still working round the clock to verify their existence.

Shirttail Relative (Carl Cotton) - a relative by marriage; Carl's maternal uncle married Billy Bob's maternal aunt, which makes them not blood, but shirttail relatives

Shite (British) - drop the "e" and that's what it is; the film BURN, HOLLYWOOD, BURN is a major piece of shite.

Silly Slob (Tom Epperson) - BBT's lifelong friend and writing partner Tom's nickname for Hisfineself.

Size of Texas, Mr. President (Dan Truman) - a reference to anything massive in its proportions; from ARMAGEDDON.

Slurpy (Sage) - a way to describe BBT's anatomy, similar to the term "cheesecake" favored by American GIs during WWII to describe Rita Hayworth and Betty Grable.

Snake Walk (Sage) - a unit of measure for rating something; instead of something rating five stars, it would rate five snake walks.

Snickersnort! (Lily) - Lily laughing.

**Snip** - Sage cutting us all down to size.

Southern Smile (Diana) - our beloved Diana Dail of Alabama.

St. Louis Cardinals - Billy Bob, Big Daddy, and Brent Briscoe's favorite baseball team; BBT would have pitched for them if he hadn't become an actor and musician.

Star City, AR - hometown of BBT.

Tattoo - the preferred Bod Mod of Planet Billy Bob.

Thankyouthankyouverymuch (Elvis Presley) - an Elvisism favored by BBT, Big Daddy, and BBT's son, Harry.

Thwack - a resounding slap usually delivered upside the head.

Trampoline - something we all hope Billy Bob buys Katy one day.

Tres Hombres - the band that featured Big Daddy Michael Shipp (guitar), his brother Nick Shipp (bass guitar), and BBT (drums); their debut album GUNSLINGER is considered the world's greatest Frisbee.

Troublemaker (Eric) - BBT's character in THE APOSTLE; Eric's official title, one he proudly defends.

Tump - the Mercedes Benz of wheelbarrows.

TYTYVM (Mike Shipp) - The acronym for Thankyouthankyouverymuch.

Umm hmm (BBT) - Karl Childers' way of answering in the affirmative.

Victory (Carlye) - what Billy Bob reportedly smelled like the night he won his Oscar for SLING BLADE; Carlye was the Academy escort to the Governor's Ball for Billy Bob and his party, so she should know.

Walking the snake (Richard Jemmons) - heavy petting below the waist.

Wal Mart - a wondrous, exotic, international bazaar prevalent throughout the South where one can buy just about any damn thing; also seems to be ruining the U.S. economy.

Wheelbarrow - a prize possession for carting around sod and whatnot; the best can be bought at Wal Mart; the deeper the belly, the better; (Big Daddy) an underwritten poem by William Carlos Williams.

Whup Ass - a sound beating.

Willis, Bruce - actor no one noticed in ARMAGEDDON because BBT was in it (see also Affleck, Ben).

Woo hoo! (Various) - frequently heard yelp of triumph.

YKYABBTFW (Lily) - acronym for "You know you're a Billy Bob Thornton fan when . . ."
