I am Amélie, your List Mama, and here is all you need to know about the rules and regulations for our wonderful mailing list.
NO flaming. Debates are welcome, personal attacks are not.
Do NOT post any private information to the list, such as home addy, phone
number, etc. All posts sent to the list are archived on the Yahoogroups website,
which are easy to access. We do not want anything dangerous to happen to anyone. If you want to correspond
personally with someone on the list for any reason, e-mail your information to
them privately, but PLEASE be careful!
If you're on the digest version, please do not quote the whole digest back
when you respond. Quote only the parts you are directly responding to and
remember to snip headers, signatures, and footers.
Binaries (such as attached photo files, web pages, sound clips) are not
allowed and are automatically removed by Yahoogroups from your
post. If you want to share something with the list that
is not set in plain text, either ask members to e-mail you privately or put it on a web
page and post the URL to the list. You can also join the Billybob
Gallery to exchange pictures with your fellow Planeteers.
Try to keep off-topic posts and one-liners to a minimum. This is a pretty high traffic list and we don't want to waste our time and mailbox space for posts that only say, "I agree!" or "LOL." Also, if a thread (topic being discussed by the group) changes direction, please change the subject header to reflect that.
Any personal attacks against or malicious gossip about Mr. Thornton, his family, his friends, and anything else to do with his personal life are not permitted.
We have three simple ways to enforce these rules:
First Offense: A warning.
Second Offense: Suspension from the list for two weeks.
Third Offense: Permanent unsubscription from the list. The unsubscribed are permanently banned and may not rejoin.
The rules are just basic common sense, so there shouldn't be any problems.
Finally, HAVE FUN! We talk about nearly anything and everything pertaining to
Billy Bob Thornton. If you have something to share, please do so. If you
just want to lurk, by all means do! Just remember that Amélie
is available to help you out and keep things running smoothly, so don't hesitate to ask questions.
