Movie Quote
DAY TRIPPER: See them little gold things he's
playing with? Ten thousand dollars apiece. Every
time he lays one down, ten thousand big ones.
Plot
Financially struggling, but happily married couple Diana and
David Murphy (Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson) make a trip to
Vegas to try and raise the money to keep their dream
house. When Diana catches the eye of billionaire John Gage
(Robert Redford), he proposes that she spend an amorous night
with him in exchange for one million dollars--more than enough
to save Diana and David's home. When the couple agrees to Gage's
deal, they find that the answer to their financial prayers
exacts a serious toll on their marriage.
What Billy Bob Gets To Do
Sporting one of the truly weirdest shirts (even
by Las Vegas standards) in cinema history, Billy Bob does a
Basil Exposition as a casino tourist who helpfully explains to Demi
Moore and Woody Harrelson exactly how rich Robert Redford is as
they observe Redford in the throes of some high stakes gambling.
For
those wondering what that convention button is that he's
sporting, Billy Bob informs us that it says something along the
lines of "We Support Our Troops!"
