Movie Quote

out!
Plot
Swing your pardners! This little bitty short is a comic gem, starring
BBT as a weathered, trail-weary cowpoke named TAR trying to have
a quiet campfire dinner with his partner, Slope (Mickey Jones,
also pictured above ). Slope starts to bug Tar about whether he
wishes he could be a little kid again. Tar would just as soon
kill a man as get in touch with his inner cowboy, but Slope
wants to kick off his boots and skip across the prairie.
What Billy Bob Gets To Do
He's got long hair again, but this time, it's dark and really
greasy. He wields a knife (perhaps he's ONE
FALSE MOVE's Ray Malcolm's
great-great-great grandpappy), looks surly and grungy, and he
has deep-seated issues about choreography.
Backstory
Shot in Nevada, THE LAST, REAL COWBOYS was a showcase
piece for the Big Picture Studios production company.
There is a very, very funny reference to a cult western TV
series of the 1970s (not to be divulged here--we don't do
spoilers). Nice western-style arrangement of the folk tune Skip
To My Lou on the soundtrack, too. Delightful Mickey Jones is a recurring presence from HUNTER'S BLOOD,
DON'T LOOK BACK, and SLING
BLADE.
