Plot
A young man (Seann William Scott) with a
successful career as a motivational speaker is
mortified to learn that his mother (Susan Sarandon) is about to wed his arch-nemesis: Mr. Woodcock (gasp!),
his dreaded junior high-school gym teacher (Thornton), who has
made high school a living hell for generations of students. He
has to stop her!
What Billy Bob Gets To Do
He'll likely sport yet another interesting buzz cut, pour on the
charm to the future Mrs. Woodcock, and continue to terrorize his
future stepson. We wonder if he can do those complex
jumping jacks that take the legs out of sync with the
arms. We never could do those!
Backstory
Billy Bob tells us this is the funniest
script he has read since BAD SANTA,
noting that "I laughed at every page!" Newcomers
Michael Carnes and Josh Gilbert have written the script.
First-time director Craig Gillespie is an actor. Film
was shot in Santa Paula, and Billy Bob broke his foot in two
places which shooting a wrestling scene with Seann William
Scott.
