COUNTER MAN:  Will?  Will?

Plot
Fraught with THE LAST PICTURE SHOW-style angst, a small-town desert dweller (Jeff Osterhage) wrestles with the decision to stay in town with his faithless wife (Lisa Blount) or move on to something better.

What Billy Bob Gets To Do
This time, you can hear him briefly, but you can hardly see him.  Billy Bob works the counter of a greasy spoon diner out in the middle of the Nevada desert (presumably south of Reno).  He dashes out from behind the counter to help up a customer who is having chest pains.  Our hero's second on-screen effort lets us hear his voice (something we don't get to do in HUNTER'S BLOOD, even though we can see his lips move), but we don't see him really well.  In fact, he's about as discernible as that famous Bigfoot video.

Backstory
We're pals with Terrill Lee Lankford, the acclaimed mystery author who wrote the script to this indie flick about love, betrayal, and indecision in an isolated desert town, so we recommend that you buy this puppy, which stars Jeff Osterhage and Academy Award winner Lisa Blount (Billy's leading lady in CHRYSTAL). Prior to this film, director Mark Rezyka was a TV and music video director (how utterly Michael Bay of him).  Shown above is the only production still that exists of Billy Bob in this film.
